What is the Assyrian American National Federation? 
Established in 1933 by the Assyrian community of the United States, the Assyrian American National Federation, Inc. (AANF) is a nonprofit federation of Assyrian associations in the United States that protects and promotes the progression of Assyrian culture, education, and human rights.
When and where is this conference?
The Assyrian National Policy Conference will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 to Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Crystal City Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. We recommend that you plan to arrive in Washington, DC on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 for check-in.

How can I get to Washington, DC to attend the conference?

How can I make my hotel reservation?
Discounted accommodation rates are available for conference registrants. Once you have registered for the Assyrian National Policy Conference, you will receive a link to reserve your hotel room by email.
Do I have to stay at the conference hotel to attend the conference?
No, conference registrants are not obligated to stay at the conference hotel. You are free to make accommodation arrangements that are suitable to you. Airbnb has tons of great listings available in the DC area.
If I register for an All-Access Pass, am I expected to attend all conference events? 
An All-Access Pass gives you access to all aspects of the Assyrian National Policy Conference, including all panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and evening events. You can choose which ones you want to attend.
Is there a dress code?
We recommend business attire for the entire conference. If you're joining us on Capitol Hill, be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
I'm traveling alone. Can you help me find a roommate?
Individuals aged 18 and older may request a roommate when registering for the conference. This option not only allows you to cut travel expenses, it is also a great way to connect with new people. You will be roomed with up to 3 individuals of the same gender and age group. Groups of 2 or 3 may also request additional roommates. To make a roommate request, please complete this form by May 1, 2019.
What if I need to cancel? 
Unfortunately, registration fees are nonrefundable. The AANF must guarantee and pay for each registrant's participation in advance, therefore registrations cannot be refunded nor applied to future AANF events. Please contact the Crystal City Doubletree for the hotel's cancellation policy.
